Mythology and History
Next to the beauty of the beaches, also the mythology of these places knows to enchant and can be touched upon in the remains of the Greek colonies Elea/Velia and Paestum.
Paestum, in particular, contains one of the most important Greek monumental complexes, the National Archaeological Museum. Here one wanders among well-preserved temples, ranging from that of Neptune to that devoted to Athena.

Palinuro is one of the pearls of the Cilento Coast. Here, maze-like sea caves and white sandy beaches intertwine. One of the most famous beaches is the Buon Dormire beach.
The centre of Palinuro is also worth a visit, with the Rinaldi baronial palace and the Antiquarium, which exhibits finds from an ancient necropolis dating back to the 6th century BC.

Cala degli Infreschi in Marina di Camerota is one of the most beautiful bays in the Cilento. A nature trail leads to this natural wonder. A beach made of pebbles leading to an inviting, clean, blue sea.
