Last resort before the country, with a long narrow coast 300 metres, behind which lies a dirt track that runs along the coast. This trail is ideal for visiting the small coves and the beautiful Saracen tower which stands on the headland just to the end of the beach. In August becomes one of the most crowded, with many lidos many of hotels but also preserves a small section of beach.
Don't miss the sunset here, offers beautiful scenery. The beach in its central part is sandy, suitable especially for those with small children, while at the end is mostly pebbly. Has waters from lovely colours to suit all ages, with sandy bottoms that degrade slowly and retain shallow even tens of meters from the shore.
You can reach by car until Via Mazzeo where, though parking places are limited, after which it is accessed via stairs.
In front of the beach of Calanca Marina di Camerota, is an uninhabited islet called island of sirens or rabbit island. This has a length of about 150 metres, a maximum width of 95 and a coastline of 400.
On the island there is a sparse vegetation of Mediterranean. The island returned traces of human presence since prehistoric times. There is no accumulation of sand then, practically, there is no beach because it is entirely surrounded by rock rather harsh and access it is not easy, apart from the fact that is privately owned. You can take a swim of about 130 meters from the coast.
